James22, That's an interesting point. It makes me wonder if I could use "great stuff" styrofoam insulation in a spray can, to block off the other holes. I am a machinist/prototype builder/mechanic/bodyman (yeah my job is confusing) so I probably could make something to block it up, but I figured the rubber bands were only a few dollars. $20 a piece, they had better last quite a while, or I am gonna start doing some engineering on that thing! I am going to pick up the planter on Saturday. AS far as teh wheel/tire spacing... Well, to me, that is a minor techinicality. I am sur eI could adapt brackets to move them. The nice thing abut farm equipment is that it is made with mostly standard stock. Anything that doesn't require mor ethan some steel stock adn welder is where I get into trouble.
