Dave: My 656 and 560 were delivered new with 15.5x38. I was damn disappointed in those two tractors. My 300 on 13.6x38 had more clearence. I made a tractor out of each of them by installing 16.9x38. I was not doing any hard road hauling, 99.9% field work, thus I went from 15.5x38 with chloride to 16.9x38 no chloride, and you wouldn't believe they were the same tractors. With the new tires they had good clearence over hay windrows, pulled a 44 plate disk with 20" blades and a 5x16 semi-mount plow. If you want to pull on the field without compaction more rubber is the answer, NOT WEIGHT.
