There was quite a disscion on this a few posts early, lot of pro's and cons.
But all you need to do is switch to a 12v coil lite bulbs and a gen and reg, leave the starter at 6v as 12 won't hurt it as long as you don't grind on it for an extened period, the gen should still be available from a 450 as they were 12v
