I"ve been fighting with this hunting problem on my C for ages... I put in the new bumperspring, didnt do much good. I adjusted the connection-rod between the carb and the governor. It got a little better. SO with some fine-tuning and adusting I got her running nicely. The only problem is that I can"t move the choke. The choke is pulled about half. If I pull it all the way I get a big black cloud. So I know it"s getting too much fuel. When I open the choke all the way, it starts hunting again like crazy and doesn"t run properly in any way. So my guess is I"ll have to give it a little more fuel. BUT in previous messages I"ve posted, you guys told me your main jet is turned out about 3 to 3 1/2 turns and your idling jet is turned out about 1 1/2 turn. So I put mine in the same position to try. The main jet is now turned out about 5 turns, and I don"t see any improvement... By the way, it"s also impossible to keep her turning on less than half throttle..
