I would not remove the radiator if you don"t have to. It has been my experience that the radiator is a pain to remove. There are two studs in the bottom of the radiator with nuts underneath. You have to lay on your back to get them loose, they are most likely rusted and furthermore there is not a lot of room for a hand and wrench. Then you have to drain all the coolant, disconnect the hoses and remove the steering shaft. You can reach in front of the fan, remove the water pump driver, and then unscrew the four bolts that hold the fan to the pump. Much eaiser in my opinion, heck! I have even removed the water pump on my M without haveing to remove the radiator :-)
