thanks everyone for all your help,i will try adjustments. i did not adjust clutch pedal rod after i put tractor back together, it is still adjusted the same as when i first removed. i didnt think about that new clutch disc would be thicker. my book says a 1" TO 1 1/8" FREE PLAY IN CLUTCH PEDAL im not sure how to measure this correctly. thanks, Jim
