Kailee did great today! She was active for about an hour or so when the meds were wearing down, moving around and crying. So wonderful to hear her cry and to see her move.
IV came out and they couldn't get another one in so now she has a direct line through the umbilical cord. She seems much more content with this as there are no nerve endings to cause pain. They needed to put her on a little sniff of oxygen (0.05) since the meds relaxed her to occasional shallow breathing. She was sleeping peacefully when we left tonight, it was so hard for Mommy to leave but she needs rest for when we go home and don't have the wonderful nurses to help us.
Thank you all so much for the prayers, they have pulled us through this difficult time. Will keep you posted of any new developments as I have a chance.
