to replace the ta you will have to completly remove the center section of your tractor its not a bad job if you have the equipment to split your tractor a rebuilt ta can be anywhere from 600$ co up call bates or leamans in penn i have bought parts from both you could have a bad valve in the and it not be cracked we bought a 400 diesel that had sit outside without a cover over the exhaust and it killed all the valves they were available at caseih dealer
