You have to be REAL careful when pressing a waterpump apart, or back together, or you'll break the impeller, the main casting, or the pully/hub.
You need to figure out which way it has to come apart, or you'll break things.
NEVER put pressure (from pressing) though the bearing. Press on the bearing shell to press the bearing in place, then support the opposite end of the SHAFT while pressing the impeller or the pulley/hub onto the other end.
Best to have a shop manual "at hand", before starting.
Usually, the manual will give you the dimensions as to how far to press the pulley/ or and the impeller into place.
If you DO NOT have a manual, or it doesn't show the process in enough detail, you need to CAREFULLY measure these things BEFORE pressing things apart.
