I have never seen a Super A1, if I do I will buy it, provided it doesn't cost an arm or leg. Again I rely on Guy Fay's info, although he makes mistakes like every one else, such as, he says the SN is on the seat bracket--if you have seen one I will take your word for it. Guy does say that the 100 had it on the bell housing. As you say the 100 and SA1 are (mostly?) the same except for the sheet metal. It does seem that since the SA1 was a "running" change (without the hoopla the introduction of the hundred series brought) with the C123 engine and taller radiator, that IH would have left the tag alone. But, what makes sense to me seldom works out that way.
