I use a local radio station a lot. Theres 2 of them in my area where I can call in asking for old dead tractors. I also say I do my best to put them back in service and none will end up being cut up for scrap and people seem to like to know that and call me about what they have. I fix what I can and then if its not one I want or need turn around and sell it so I have the money to buy more or them. This one is a customers tractor so all I'm doing to it is fixing it up well enough for him to use it. It was his grand fathers so he really wants it up and running if I can do it. I did sort of check the mag tonight but since I was alone I had to do it the painful way and hold the coil wire in my hand and turn the engine over with a hand crank. It seems to work because I jumped about a foot off the floor of the trailer. LOL

Today's Featured Article - Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
