Yep by golly, I think you fellas got it pegged. I looked at the photo ad, and it pretty much looked like the tractor I saw. It's really strange that the tag on the left side of the engine gave the specs for plugs and timing, but no I.D as to who made it. Not a mark on who made it anywhere. The thing that threw me was that the fuel tank and hood, and the air cleaner and exhaust looked JUST LIKE a little 140....thanks again..gn
