In addition to what Marv said, when they added live hydraulics, they had to move the battery from under the gas tank to under the seat in order to make room for the live hydraulic reservoir and valve body. Also, the grill was changed to one with two additional large holes for cultivator attachment. My super H is a late '53, #20856 J; the latest date code on it is 11-25-Y. It has the newer grill in addition to the other stage 2 characteristics. I love that ol' thing. mike
