My friend that fishes a lot uses those deep cycle batteries. I only have a few fruit trees and I use a car 12 volt battery to run my sprayer. It works fine for me. The battery on the sprayer quit a long time ago, so I just cut the wires and spliced into them so I could use a car battery. I use the battery on my garden tractor if I have it out at times to run the sprayer. Hal
