We bought this 460 rowcrop at an auction a few days ago. While loading it on the trailer we discovered the power steering wasn't working. We ask the people that sold it and they said they never had a problem with it befor. Well we got it home and found out the hydrolics wasn't working either. so we pulled the cover on the platform to check the hytran and found out that there isn't a dipstick like on our 706 and 856. That is my first question how do you check the fluid? So I put a couple of gallons in and the hydrolics started to work and I thought the power steering was going to work for a minute it got easy to turn and the next minute I could hardly turn it at all. Where is the power steering pump on this tractor? So if anyone can help please let me know.
