I've got an F-14 and two F-12's and I have not noticed any frame twist. I would check that you have all of the necessary bolts in their proper place and that they are the correct length. The 5 bolts that hold each of the frame rails to the transmission housing have to be real tight. There are two vertical bolts on each side of the steering bolster that need to be checked for length and tightness. There are also two horizontal bolts at the front of the frame rails on each side that screw into the steering bolster that need to be checked for tightness and the correct length. As others have said, it sounds like some of the bolts are not making tight enough contact to hold things together.
