After a few months of soaking Finally pulled the head off of it and with a little persuading got her loose. Seems all is well with the walls and the pistons, no ridges or pitting. Valves were also hard to free up. Need to know 2 things? 1. What is the best way to surface the head and block to clean it up. They are in good shape and just need to kind of scrape it clean for the new gasket. 2. valves also look real good. Figure to lap them. Where is a good place to get a tool to compress the springs? Also the tool to hold the valves in while turning them. Dont need a top of the line just an afordable set. Thanks
