I had this happen on my H. High idle and a miss. I noticed when I pulled the muffler to take the hood off that the exhaust pipe was moving. Further checking showed the entire manifold was moving with the pipe. All I had to do was tighten up the manifold and readjust the carb. If your gasket is an old one you may have to replace it. Ran like a charm after tightening and idles so slow you can read the letters on the fan belt! (just don"t run it like that for long as it is also not pumping much oil at that speed)
