I have the new engine back in my I-4 and now I'm trying to install the clutch.
When I took it out, I left the flywheel/clutch/input shaft package on the engine as I pulled it. When I re-installed the engine, the flywheel/clutch components weren't ready yet, so I went back in with the engine less the flywheel.
Now I'm trying to put it all back in and I can't figure out how its done. The flywheel was a wrestling match to get back in place, but its in. There just doesn't seem to be enough room to get it all the rest in there even in pieces.
I thought about unbolting and sliding the engine forward, but that would require removing the radiator that took me 3 days to figure out how to get in.
These things had to be servicable in the field. Anyone know how its done?
