You might want to put some anti-sieze on the choke wire before you install the cable. It comes in a tube, looks sort of copper colored. I got mine at NAPA, it will prevent the cable from rusting into the covering. You can pull the cable clear out before you install it & cover the whole wire. The choke wire will work great for MANY years with a little work prior to installation. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
