Matt, I highly recommend the big honkin heavy duty batterys that have say 900 to 1100 CCA if shes gotta sit in the cold n you want her to start in the winter. Make sure each n every battery n starter n solenoid n ground conenctions are clean n tight n I like BOTH the felt washers under the battery cable post ends PLUS use some battery terminal spray to avoid corrosion. Use Sta Bil in the gas tank and water remover if needed,,,,,,,,,have real good plug wires n tight fittin boot ends and maybe a lil ignition spray on the distributor cap if needed,,,,,,,, keep the ignition switch and other electrical doo hickeys sprayed with WD 40 to prevent water n freeze ups,,,,,,,,,have the ignition well tuned with good plugs n points n condensor and fresh clean water free gas n you ought be good to go
