With my H sledding logs I would burn 10 gallons of gas an 8 hour day. There was some heavy pulling uphills and also some idling time while logs were cut, and half throttle empty runs from the log loading area back to the area the logs were cut. My F-12 would only use 6 gallons in 2 days doing the same thing. It saw more idle time though as it could be a contankerouse thing to start if the tank was more than half full. (bad needle valve in carb) As the logs got bigger I thought it better to use the H as I was overworking the F-12.
