I have a 78 model 686. I used a IT manual which shows 1/16" free travel on the TA clutch lever and the hand lever. I set this adjustment. The manual only shows this adjustment. Is there any other adjustments needed? When I engage the TA I can feel and see the the tractor RPM go lower but the TA doesn't seem to engage. There is no slipping or anything just no decrease in tractor speed. It is like it is still in Direct. Took the inspection plate off and everything that I can see looks ok. When moving the TA lever I don't see the pressure plate move off the TA clutch plate. Any suggestions? Thanks
