Those torsion links are part of the draft sensing mechanism. Notice it has to holes for the top link. One is for light sensing and the other is for heavier sensing. I do not have my service manuals handy, and have not worked on any of the 54/64/74/84/85/95 series draft sensors, so I can't really advise you on this. If you will send me an email so I can reply to you. I will look into it some to see what I can dig up. I have worked on other models with similar problems, but haven't had any problems with my 84 and 85 series as of yet. I think if it was cylinder related it would leak off all the time, and cause the lift to jerk up and leak down again while tractor is running. That draft sensor is a control valve of sorts. It is hooked to the control valve to regulate implement draft. There is a linkage from the top link bracket to the sensor valve behind those torsion bars.
