Well I know that over here in north east Ohio back in 77and 78 during the blizzards we hit 35 below and my 460 gasser and my 706 gasser both started with out any block heater setting in a three side pole barn with 30 weight and they both had not run since nov. and this was late jan. My super H will start at -30 below setting under a tarp with 30 weight .Just don't as it to start a -35 and don't ask me to get out on a tractor at them temps. That is why they made snow plows for pickups .
