Howdy, boys. I've got what I think is a right decent '53 Super M with mostly original paint, 2-way valve, power steering and live hydraulics. It has a 50983DC gas carb on it from an M. It runs fine, but I want the original carb - or at least an original appearing carb - that will, with no doubt - let the SM produce hp up to its full potential. Does anyone know the best place to get a used (core) SM carb, #356948R92? What about the 400 carbs - #362173R91 & R92? How do they work on a Super M gas? What is the difference between the R91 and R92 400 carb models? I want something which will let the ol' red beast perform well and will have the choke lever on the engine block side, as it should. Thanks. mike durhan
