Mike I just saw your picture in the other thread. You need to flip that casting over so the grease fitting points up and put it on the other side of the gauge support so the grease fitting lines up with the hole in the top of the hood.
The casting is what is keeping you from getting things together.
Once you get the casting in place, you can loosen the collars up by the steering support and slide the steering wheel a little if you need to.
