You should clean that block area thoroughly around and under where the sleeves & seals sit. Dirt and rust are probably in that area. Be sure to use some dish detergent to coat the lower area of the sleeve so they will slide into that new sleeve. If there's a recessed area in the top of the block for the top of the sleeve to sit you need to clean that area too. If the F-20's are similar to to the Farmalls you probably need to pull the damper from the engine. Hal
