Picked up a nice mostly original 71 Chevy Custom Camper 3/4 ton at an auction last weekend with 98,000 original miles. The Old Farmer was selling off the last of his equipment and clearing out the barn. Everything was very well maintained including a IH TD 25 bulldozer that had a new crank and track parts that went cheap. It was opening day for gun season so the crowd was sparce. Now I can retire the Dakota, it had trouble pulling big loads anyway. I know this truck will "walk the dog", Dad has a 69 custom Camper 3/4 Longhorn we used to pull a TD 6 bulldozer with and it did great with that. It will be nice to get a good size load of firewood home each trip also!

Today's Featured Article - Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
