Bob: Super AI is industrial and will be badged INTERNATIONAL on side of hood rather than Farmall. It will have foot throttle and square heavy axle. Don't let the square axle fool you as it was an option on a Farmall. Actually Super AI should read Super IA.
Then you have Farmall Super A1, starts at serial number 356001 and only 1,957 were ever built in the last few months of 1954. Basically a similar idea as Super MTA as it is really a Farmall 100 with Super A sheet metal. In that last 1,957 tractors there were a few Super IA1. I forget the exact figure but think it's 5 or less. INTERNATIONAL Industrial Super A1. Actually the only change that occured at the beginning of Super A1 is the change to C-123 engine, with water pump, and placment of serial number. Serial number moved from left seat support to left side of clutch housing. The final drive, clutch, hydraulic, brakes, etc. all occured earlier in 53 or 54.
More changes occured during Super A production, than between model changes of A, SA, SA1, 100, 130 and 140 or during production of A, SA1, 100, 130 and 140. In other words over half the upgrades that occured in the 40 year production (1939-1979) of that offset tractor, occured during SA production.
