now is the time to think about it ;) any hints to adding an engine heater to a 685 for winter? just today realized no engine heater. i observed the really simple block design with lack of frost plugs. looks like a tank heater is the only option, with only one block drain to feed it, but about 3 spots for it to feed to, all near the water pump. for simplicity of design (less hoses), left side fittings would be best, but looks like a mess to mount the heater tank itself with little room because of fuel filters, inj pump, ether can, and starter. there is a frame memeber of a brush mower in the way, like a loader--plenty of room on right side, even with frame member. tractor does not have a cab or coolant filter--which would maybe make a heater easier to plumb.
anyone have good hints for mounting and plumbing one? i want a clean, durable, reliable, and out of the way installation. cih parts page did not seem to show a heater option.
