I remember hearing the "old timers" brag about having the first of what ever equipment. The sucsessful farmers way back usually were the progressive ones. I know a guy looking for the first production farmall regular. He said his Dad bought it and he still has the serial number and unless it was scrapped or sold out of area it should be in central Indiana. He is getting close to 90 now. I found the first John deere silo unloader sold, but I bet it aint worth much. I have also found that when some of those guys said the had the first of something, they usually reffered to the first one in the area. Hope you can get the W4. It would be a great find!
