Robert: You say just finished, therefore I wouldn't get hasty on the pump. You may still have some air in the system, and they don't lift very well with air. Try working each hydraulic rockshaft full stroke about 20-30 times, with fill cap open, and at brisk idle. Try to have a bit of load on the rockshafts, mower is good for that one.
George is correct, only thing you can rebuild on the pump is the seals around the shaft, letting it leak hydraulic oil into the crankcase. No point taking that one apart if it's not leaking. Over the next several days, I'd do accutate reading in both hydraulic reservoir and crankcase. That will soon tell you if leaking. I've never had one leak at the pump, but I expect it only leaks much with tractor running.
