A friend of mine bought this tractor from the original owner some 10 to 15 yrs ago and I think the tractor was used to run an auger or fish pond aerator or something stationary most of the time. He, and a friend of mine who is a farmall/IH mechanic, are the ones who restored it. The seat base he said he put new rubbers in so I said "rebuilt". I assume they were dry rotted from sitting out in the weather. Should have been more clear. He said they went through the transmission with new bearings and seals when they put the new TA on. As far as the hydraulic pumps, I dont know how they could have gone bad. My friend who is the mechanic is a stickler for details and if something isnt 100%, he fixes it. I cant remember if he told me they were new or rebuilt. As far as the hours go, the front end has never been replaced and is tight as new so that leads me to believe the hours are correct. That and the fact that this guy is an honest man and we know who has owned this tractor since new. The original owners manual is with the tractor too.
