I've been thinking of changing my Super M from 6 to 12 volt. I would like to keep the generator look, and am wondering if I could use a 12 volt generator from a Super MD, Delco #1100964?? If I could use this 12 volt generator, and changed to a 12 volt regulator, coil, and lights, what else would I need to change? Would the wiring diagram be the same for the Super M and MD? I haven't been able to locate a wiring diagram for a Super MD. Has anyone ever done a conversion like this? Thanks!
