Glen. Both H and M came from factory with 36 inch rims.These rims all had a metal ring that had to be removed to get tire off. The H usually had 10-36 and M had 11-36 .Most front tires , 5.50-16 for H and 6.00-16 for M, were mostly single rib tires.The 39 H,s went to serial #10658 and 39 M's to #7240.Rims were changed near end of 39 production or on early 1940 models to 38 inch without demountable rings. There were also a lot of tractors on steel and probably the 38 inch rim could have been a special order item .The HV and MV always used the 36 inch rim but they had bolt on lugs instead of clamps. I think this is more info. than you wanted.(Down thru the years, most 36 in. rims have been changed to th 38 in.] , much eaiser to change tires with drop center rims.]
