Had the same problem once on my 350d. The "plate" that bolts to the engine came loose, not the cast bell housing bolts. So that meant splitting the tractor. I put in new grade 8 bolts and lock tighted them. Mine coming loose was a result of the previous owner doing a poor re-assembly job after putting in a T/A. I found many, many loose bolts on my way in there. My tractor was starting to "chatter" under much of a load due to the sagging in the middle. It sounded like a throw out bearing making noise when you pushed in on the clutch.
