I have a 300u but no experience with your problem. I would think if you make sure the starter isn't jamed in (if so, loosen the starter and get the drive gear back to the starter end), jack the tractor level, take out 1 bolt from bottom and 1 from the top, and purchase all new grade 8 bolts and lock washers and go around and replace all of the bolts. Get lots or torque on the new bolts. Hopefully none of the holes are stripped. Seems to me that the bolts on top may go in the opposite direction of the others so may also be different length. For sure, I would want that fixed ASAP. Sounds like you must have parts not lining up and that would cause undesirable, excessive wear quick.
