I've heard Farmalls were just hosed down with red paint all over the thing. Did that include the radiator? A guy has a beautifully restored, supposedly "correct" '43 H that has a black radiator. If it's not correct, the reason I can think of that he did that was for the shutters, so you could see them under the grill. I was just thinking of which way I would go.
