Yep, It's no big deal to add the PTO. Your tractor definetly has the live power shaft installed in the transmission since you've got the hitch and remote hyd. Like the vet said, you just need the extension shaft and splined couplers, the PTO unit, and the linkage. Make sure to get yourself the dual shaft 540/1000 RPM unit. The unit out of a very late 86 series or 3088 series is nice, because it's got the hydraulicly-applied PTO brake. You can shut the engine off and turn the PTO shaft by hand, making it extra easy to connect PTO shafts. The 06 series thru early 86's had spring applied PTO brakes which were engaged any time the PTO was not running. Just make sure to get the correct linkage for whichever unit you get, as the linkage for the late units moves the spool valve down instead of up.
