It was in an old crane. A lot of them were used in gen sets on railroad cabooses. They have been changed out over the last few years and there are a few around because of that. They don't have many parts in common with the other GM diesels so some parts are getting tough/expensive to get while others are still dirt cheap. I'm at Almelund every year every day of the event. Say hi next year. I'm about 25 miles NW of Cambridge, MN myself.
Yea Almelund is getting to be a pretty darn good show and I go to a lot of them. It's getting better every year and it's a good crowd of people too.
