Hi Don g: I payed a little more for my Farmall C when I saw that it had the very same factory options that were on the first Farmall C that I drove for threshing in 1948. ...and it had a serial number indicating that it most likely was made about the second week of production and most of the cast iron parts have a late 1947 code. (But then I also really didn't need too much of a reason to buy... ) What I am really saying is that if the right person comes along, he'll find a reason to pay. The lower your serial number the better but.. you never can tell untill the deal is done. Not like pricing stuff in a store. agpilot
