IMHO, don't try to make a sediment bulb gasket out of gasket material, you'll be REALLY disapointed in the results. Just buy one, or if you can't get one in your part of the world, I'll stop out to my friendly IH dealer and get one for you & mail it to you. (They are not all that costly.) You'll also probably need the fine brass screen that goes in there. I like the rubber gaskets the best, you can re-use them a time or two, but you usually can't re-use the cork ones. Gasket goes on top, screen goes under the gasket in the grove on the bulb. You will need to clean the bulb several times as you start to use the tractor, if it hasn't been run in a while.
