From Guy Fay's Originality guide, these placements are for the SuperA, and are fine for #1 and #3 as far as the A.
#2 - A little muddy on this one. Center of fuel tank, one inch behind #1, but that's for the Super A. The placement drawings and info for the A are much less detailed than for the Super, and do not mention #2 for the A . In fact, for the A, the book puts puts a pneumatic tire pressure decal where I describe #2 being.I don't take this to mean that #2 is inaccurate or not original for an A, just that it wasn't specifically mentioned for the A. In short, the book doesn't say specifically where #2 would go on an A. Myself, I put #2 on my '47 BN as described, right behind #1.
