The holes in the bottom are mount holes for (I do not know what), but they are through the casting into the clutch TA cavity. A "dry" area. If fluid is there, it could be engine oil. or Hytran. Either one is (I believe) not supposed to be there. To fix the seals, requires splitting. If a user, ignore it. If a high quality restore of a valuable tractor (and it is rare and valuable) then splitting is needed. THe hook is for the FH latches. Another loop is the brake lock, but that is smaller and not confusable with the loose hook. Good luck, Did you find the photo I posted in the tractor photos of the 350 Hi Utility several months ago?
