when i got a new cap for my 52 cub, i think the dealer said there were 3 possible caps to fit the radiator. one was for a non pressurized system, the other two were for a pressurized system. the two pressure caps, one of them had a longer stem that went a little deeper in the top of the radiator. mine took the longer cap. been a while since i bought it, but measure the neck on the radiator from the top where the cap sits to where the gasket sits.
