I know guys in the auto business long time(rebuilding, salvage, maintence, and so on)that refuse to use Fram filters because, believe it or not, they say they are too good. They not only remove the bad stuff, they are remove some of the good stuff in the oil.
Disclaimer: Don't use them never have. Always used Wix or Purolator. Good service out of either one.
