The IHC serial numbers have prefixes that ID the model. Example TG=15-30, KC=10-20, QC or T=Farmall, FS=F-12, etc. I have one or two books that list these numbers, along with the years of manufacture. If you post the number, or just e-mail me, I will see if I can match your number with a model. And, as others say here, a lot of us old-timers who grew up with these tractors can ID them pretty much on the spot. If you can post a picture, one of us will be able to say what you have. The exception might be the difference between 15-30 and 22-36, which mostly involved a larger bore for the latter model, I belive.
