Just put them on without sealer , but make sure both surfaces are very clean!. sealer sometimes creates problems. On the water jacket gasket, you may have to use a VERY thin coat of sealer if the gasket surface is pitted. If stuff squishes out when you tighten it you used too much and it could clog a tube or two in the radiator. If it comes out on the outside, it will squish out on the inside also.
