Not entirely OT as I am putting the tractors to bed for the winter and realized my Honda genny has been sitting back there for a couple years without being run. LSS, I decided to put some fresh gas in with the old and just try to start her. They are usually pretty forgiving engines. It fired up, idled down, ran about ten seconds and then stalled, burped, and about a quart of gas came out through the air cleaner all over the floor. Anyone have the slightest idea why this happened? I have run lots of neglected engines...they either start or no....but have never seen the likes of this.
